We work in 8 communities teaching techniques from basic gardening skills to Bio intensive methods that include cover crops, composting, natural fertilizers and pest control. We also have provided drip irrigation systems in many of the gardens.

There are 145 gardens. This includes 2 educational gardens.

One is at the El Ayudante HCN and one is at a rural school. These Gardens positively impact over 7200 Nicaraguans

We work carefully in each community to select an individual eager to help themselves and their community. a needs survey and business plan is established prior to starting a project.

In one community Felix manages and operates 2 125 bird egg laying coops. This flock generates over 1600 eggs per week.

With your help we plan on adding coops to 2 communities this year.

5 church communities participate      in this ministry. Tapestry of Love      founder Kathie came down two          times and spent time training.          Living Grace Ministries in Leon        Continues weekly training. Two Nicaraguans are the lead trainers.

They are currently searching for a store front property to sell their products out of. In Fairbury IL. you can find their hand made items at Tapestry of Love.
